On thursday night the girls and I headed up to Seattle to watch the girls state soccer tournament for the weekend. We were so excited that they worked so hard, and no matter what, was going home in the top four teams in the state of Washington.
Thankfully Sarah and her daughter Kendle rode with me, because they were a huge help with my girls in the car and at the games. We enjoyed some swimming and shopping in our free time and just some realxing. I really enjoyed getting to know the soccer girls and other coaches more and watching them do something that is a once in a life time kinda thing.
The girls ended with 3rd in state. Not too shabby for their first year of coaching the girls. Not an easy feat I must say. Johnny and Riley have truly enjoyed working with this group of girls and I can just see that the girls have enjoyed playing for them too.
The ride home was so nice because Lexi and Kendle rode with the girls on the bus home. Lexi was in heaven not having to ride in her car seat! I have to admit I loved not listening to her whine about being in her car seat just as much! She also loved all the attention she got from the girls too.
I tried to get some pictures of the games, but of course my camera died. But Sarah did a nice write up and had some pictures so click HERE to read more about the game.
Thanks Sarah for the fun weekend and being an awesome fellow coaches wife!

I really wanted to get a picture of Riley and Johnny with their trophy. Might just have to do that another time since it's currently sitting on our dining room table. Thanks for the fun time!
