Anyhow, besides that, I also have stayed busy at church. A few Sunday's ago we had our Primary program. In case you didn't know, I am now part of the primary presidency and we have about 140+ kids we had to make parts for and figure out where they were going to sit, etc. etc. etc. NOT an easy task, I must say. But after everything is all said and done, it turned out so good. I was so proud of our kids and how well they did. (I totally cried like 3 times)
Last weekend we had our ward trunk or treat that we helped to organize. I couldn't help too much on the actual day, due to being a soccer widow still, but it turned our great.
I also am planning a baby shower for my sis-in-law who is due in Jan. So invites had to be made, of course, and mailed last week.
Tomorrow is our Super Saturday which my friend Betsy and I were ask to be in charge of a craft. That means making it, collecting the supplies, prepping the supplies and then teaching it the day of.
Of course through all of this, Johnny has been stressed at work due to this huge project, then he goes straight to soccer and usually doesn't get home until 7:45 at night. Which means I am stressed because he is stressed, and of course lonely because I am basically a single mother for 4 months.
Now you can see just a little bit why I have been stressed. This week, I have relaxed a little bit. I spent all day on the computer the other day searching for Christmas presents. (I made a pretty big wish list on Amazon.com if anybody needs any ideas for my family :) ) All that time paid off because I got Lexi a sweet gift for a sweet price! And did I mention that I also got a cold, which usually tends to happens when I am super stressed out. :(
On a happy note...I was able to do some fun crafts before all of this craziness happened. Here is some things that I made for our house.
This one I put in Lexi's room to match her bed spread.
This one is was for my bathroom, just to have a little something on the counter.
Now can you guess how much each cost me to make? (ok I know you probably don't care but humor me just this once will ya?)
Butterfly wreath, $1.15, Hydrangea balls with vase $3.05 and the blue wreath was about $7.00 plus alot of headaches and burns on my fingers.
Wow..I know how did I make them so cheap? Well the first two are made from brown lunch bags, and the rose wreath is made from crate paper.
I also made some other little things which I will have to take pictures of and post on my very neglected craft blog.
Now if I can just get someone to buy my beautiful house, then maybe I can work on my very behind scrapbooks!
