Memorial Day

Our family had a great fun filled weekend. On Saturday my friend, Betsy and I went on a shopping trip to Spokane. It was so nice to try on clothes and look at scrapbook stuff without whining children. I got some great deals on baby clothes and I feel like a new woman having a little time to myself!
While I was gone Johnny took Lexi up to where his family was camping at Fish Hook Park. Lexi loves being outside and they had a playground within a hundred feet of their site, so double bonus.

I thought this was so precious of the girls walking back from the beach together.

On Sunday we drove out again and enjoyed playing at the beach, blowing bubbles, eating junk food and roasting marsh mellows.

Here is Lexi always climbing up things with something in her hand. This time it was a s'more.

The girls played in the dirt most of the day, which being the mean mom that I am, never really happens at home, so she was taking full advantage of this.

Monday we stuck around home and planted our garden finally. We enjoyed a lunch out and a BBQ later.

I must say that it was a little weird not to camp out this time, but I just didn't want to this year. I am going to be camping for about 2 weeks straight in about a month, so I just didn't really want to do more than I had to.
