Happy Mother's Day to all!

I just wanted to wish all you Mother's out there a great day! I know I had a pretty great Mother's Day and I hope especially that my mothers and grandmothers did too!

I am very grateful for my mom and my mother-in-law. They both do so much for me in so many different ways! I look up to them and hope that I will be a great mother too.

I am also grateful for all of my Grandmothers. They had been a great support to me throughout my life and have been good examples in living the gospel. I love all the memories that I have with my grandmothers. I would like to share a few of my fondest ones.:

Grandma Horsley: I loved going to ice cream for our birthdays and camping for all the major holidays. I also got a chance to live at her house during my senior year of high school so I learned to eat lots of different vegetables and learned many new things about when she was growing up.

Grandma Cheel: I always remember she would give us whatever toy they got out of a cereal box and her candy dish that had those hard strawberry candies with the juicy center. She always kept any card she was ever given, so we would always play the "mail man" when we were at her house with all of her old purses.

Both of my Grandmothers growing up where in the same ward and they both served as the ward librarians for many many years. I remember going to the library to get chalk or something and was so excited to see both of my grandma's who would let me behind the counter, which was a big no-no, at least to a little kid.

We miss all of you and wish you a great Mother's Day!
*my computer won't let me upload any pictures right now so I will have to play with that later.

Glad you had a great Mother's Day yesterday. That is so great that you were able to be so close to both of your grandmother's growing up. Grandma's are the best!

This is a great post Julie. I hope you had a good weekend. Thanks for treating all of us in RS to some yummy Strawberry Shortcake. It was a wonderful Sunday!
