Happy Anniversary

Yup it is that time of year again! Our anniversary! Johnny and I got married four years ago in the Reno Nevada Temple. We dated for a little over a year. We met in Utah while going to school. A mutual friend told Johnny he just had to meet me. Thanks T-Roy! Our friend Troy played both sides saying the the other was totally interested, when neither of us had really thought about it much, but whatever he said sure worked for us. Some day I will have to write the full story, then have Johnny write his version for you because his is totally different than mine!
Before Marriage...After 4 years
Okay so a little bit chunkier on both of us but we are still just as in love as the day we got married... or should I say more...just in a different kind of way.
On our cruise I got my Valentines and Anniversary gift early. I picked out a wedding band! It was a great deal and I have gotten tired of people asking when I am getting married. This is the best picture I could get but it is gorgeous.
So he got two holidays out of one gift but I told him Mother's day I wanted him to come up with something by himself. So this morning this is what I woke up to on my kitchen counter and a little note from him. I totally forgot that I had wanted one awhile ago, so it was a great surprise and I love it! I have been using it all day!

So I thought I would share a few things that I love about my husband:

He is a very hard worker. He loves working outside, which I hate, so we are a good pair for that.

He is very good about taking out the trash or washing dishes if I ask him to.

Whenever possible he will watch Lexi so I can go do girl's nights or enrichment.

He is a great father. My favorite part of the day is when I watch Lexi and Johnny wrestle with each other. She just loves her daddy so much! So much that if she is a little stinker all day, Dad would never know because she is all smiles for him.

He loves the gospel and is so knowledgeable. I am always asking him questions about things I don't fully understand and I am always amazed at the answers that he gives me.

He loves his family and they are all really close

He hardly gets mad at anyone and just lets things roll off his shoulders. I admire that so much, except when he doesn't understand something that is bugging me!

He is very loyal to everyone. If he says he will do it, he will.

He has a great passion for things. He gets really into things and always tries to be the best that he can at it. I was telling a friend the other day that he is into everything. My friends response "synchronized swimming?" My response, "I bet he would if we had a pool!"

I love my husband and he is my support. I am thankful everyday that we are married and that I have someone who takes such good care of me.

I love you Johnny!!!!

Congrats! It sounds like you guys are lucky to have each other, and Lexi (and new Baby :) are lucky to have both of you as parents! So true about loving each other in a "more & different" way. I feel like that all the time.

To answer your question: yes, meghan robles did the picture that I used for my header. that is her link on my side bar. she lives in UT. but her mom & dad live in Pasco, so she is up here every couple months. she is super talented, fun & patient. and her prices are awesome.

I don't have my next trip planned yet, but am hoping to be up there near near the end of June but it might not be until later in July. I will try to post things on my blog about my next trip up there as soon as I know more! I am so glad you found my blog, and hope that I get to work with you sometime soon!!
