My little graduate

It was a rough few months in the beginning of the year then one day Danielle decided that Preschool was awesome, then a few weeks later she couldn't wait to go to Kindergarten and was upset that I wouldn't "let" her. She loved her teachers Miss Kristen and Miss Julie and we were lucky enough to get in their last year of preschool. Over the year she grew up before my eyes.  She become more confident and she really started to find her place.

Danielle made a good friend Eva, who luckily lives on our street.

Um and she just looks too adult with this handsome boy. I am sensing she is going to be my boy crazy girl. She does have a huge crush with a boy from her class who she says is her "true love."
 Miss Danielle:

  • Loves playing with Lexi and follows her around and tries to do everything she does.
  • Loves anything pretty and girly. She loves to wear skirts but like to get dirty with the rest of them
  • She asks ALOT of questions, but doesn't always listen to the answers.
  • She is a good little mommy to Samantha. She is the only one to get the really big belly type laughs out of her.
  • She is looking forward to do ballet this fall instead of soccer
  • She is over the moon excited to be going to Kindergarten and gets to eat lunch at school like Lexi.
  • She loves to dance and sing
  • She always wants to sit by me (mom) at the dinner table. She likes to talk to me at lunchtime when Lexi is at school. It is our sort of special time together.
  • She is timid and very cautious
  • She still gives be the best hugs and compliments me on how I look or the dinner I made.

Throughout the year, Lexi's class held little plays that had to do with something they were learning. They had parts they had to memorize, they sang songs and danced and made costumes. I loved seeing her be confident and preform. I would have never done this at her age, let alone when I was in high school so I am so thankful she is not following after me.
