Long Beach Trip

We had a fun trip this year with Johnny's family to Long Beach, WA. Here are a sample of a few of our activities:

Lots of yummy ice cream runs:
The kite museum:
Danielle with her homemade kite that mommy helped her make.

Pony rides:
Danielle did NOT like this pony.

Picking flowers:

We couldn't walk anywhere without about a 15 minute delay of the girls picking flowers along their way.

Arcade games:

Some of the prizes we got with our 877 tickets!

Shopping:

Hiatt modeling his new jacket I found him.

Cranberry farm:

Sightseeing old buildings:

Brother Trevino preaching to his congregation.

Driving on the beach and watching the feeding frenzy:

Hiking a little bit:

Cape Disappointment:

The girls taking a nap in the old WW2 fort

Rides:

I felt like a giant on this little train. Oh what we mother's do for our children!

Danielle bawled when we made her get off this ride.

The girl's really wanted go on the tilt-o-world so G-pa and I took them for a ride. I think they were regretting their decision in the first 30 seconds but by the end, Lexi was actually laughing. This picture is the aftermath. I must say I forgot how fast and uncontrollably you spin on that thing.

Horseback riding:

Johnny riding Tank

Lexi and I got to ride on Duke. Emery, Jennie, Lexi and I were on the biggest horses they had.

The 2 week old baby got to join the trail ride with her momma.

Swimming:

Lexi starting swimming on our trip. I got it on video but it is not uploading right now so I will have to post that later.

Bonfire at the beach with the Dodsons:

Going on this scary bridge a bazillion times:

(this picture does not do it justice at all. It is so huge and it curves at the end.) Lexi and I would hold our arms up as we go up and down the bridge.

Home sweet home again:

We all had a great time and if this doesn't show how we all felt when we returned, I don't know what would.

Looks like so much fun. We went to Long Beach the other year. We are heading to Lincoln City for day this week.
