Lexi is now 4!!!!!!!

I know I say this every year, but I still can't believe how fast time is going by. My Little Miss is now 4 yrs old.

Since her birthday was 2 days after Easter this year, we decided to have a combined celebration. After dinner we opened presents. Lexi got some new books, clothes, a Little Pet Shop house and animals, dress up clothes and more. Bummer for me, because my camera has been acting kinda weird so I didn't get the best of pictures but I did manage to get a few cute ones from her special day.

This year, I decided I would give myself a little break and buy her cake. I had so much going on that spending 4+ hours decorating a cake just didn't sound reasonable. We went to Dairy Queen and picked out a snickers flavored Rapunzel cake. We picked it up a few day before Sunday and she would ask everyday, about 10 times if she gets to eat it. Waiting 2 days must feel like an eternity, but I think it was worth the wait after all.

Danielle and Emery also enjoyed some of her new dress up stuff.

Lexi's big surprise this year was a "real" bike. She absolutely loves it. I love watching her do something that 'big" kids get to do. She loves to ring the bell. She keep telling me I have to make her a PB&J for her to put in her pouch and that I need to put water in her bottle. So far she has done really well. We have only had one knee scrapped this week. I pray the weather will start getting nice so we can ride to the park together.

I love my Lexi and am so proud of who she is.

  • She tries hard to obey her parents and is usually willing to help me when I ask her.

  • She loves to be tickled and play with her friends.

  • She loves to dance with Daddy and sing. Though if she catches me watching her dance or sing she stops and get really embarrassed.

  • If she knows I am about get upset with her because she is not listening to me, she will cover her eyes, as though she won't be seen to get yelled at.

  • When she tells people her name, she insists that her name is Lexi Mae.

  • She is still a skinny little thing and half of her pants fall off when she runs or even walks. I swear she will go through life running with one hand on her pants out of habit.

  • She won't wear jeans anymore. Thank goodness we are coming into the warmer weather, because she will only wear skirts and leggings. I love that she like skirts because I have been able to make her a few really cute ones that I like.

  • She is always hungry. I swear I hear her tell me that a million times a day

  • She has recently really gotten into Dr Seuss.

We love you Lexi Mae and I am so proud to be your mother!
