What a day today

So I try really hard not to write about the rough days, but this is one I just have to record so that my children can see how it really was and that they are not always prefect little girls.

So my day started about 1:40am with Danielle not sleeping. Johnny and I took turns about every hour getting up and putting her back to sleep. About 3am I not only hear Danielle crying again, but Lexi yelling at her to be quiet. So I chose to ignore Lexi until she says something about being poopy.

So now I am already tired and to top it all off I got the girl's cold. Danielle is still dripping like a faucet. She really can't do too much to get into trouble at this age, but she did dump Lexi's cereal all over, spit up on me about 4 times on top of all her boogers she also wiped on me.

Lexi usually doesn't get into many things, but I think today she decided to let all of those days where she should have been naughty, to be today. So she clogged the toilet with toilet paper, got poop on the floor, pulled the stuffing out of a couch cushion, dumped water all over the bathroom floor, and dumped 2/3 of her shampoo in the tub and the rest of another one. Plus Lexi and I have been butting heads lately, so she throws fits about the smallest things and just DOES NOT listen to anything I say to her. I suppose she has decided to hit the terrible 3's a little early. Oh lucky me.

I am sure I forgot many other things but I am just glad to say that this day is over...oh wait baby is crying again....thanks goodness for tomorrows.

Wow, Julie all I can say is yes you did have a very rough day. You can always drop Lexi off at my house if you need a brake. We always love having her over.

You are not alone (as proven by my children last time we stopped by your house :)

Spring Break happened in the nick of time. I'm almost scared to have Chip go back to work and leave me alone with the crazies next week!
