Eastertime

Last Sunday we went up to Yamika for a family baby blessing and a baptism confirmation, so I got the girls in their Easter dresses.
We attempted another family picture, but Lexi is just at that stage where she won't cooperate when we try and take pictures, therefore no good family pictures.
Uncle Layne won over Lexi's heart. He helped her play a card game with the bigger kids, I think they even won.

I just love how enthusiastic Lexi looks while dying the eggs. (FYI don't ever buy this pack with the dumb collapsible cups, they spill...yes it happened to me....twice)

Finally I got a good smile out of her
I tried to get her to show me an egg, so I could take a picture, then she wanted me to take a picture of all the 18 eggs we did.
This little sunshine woke up bright and early to celebrate her 6 month birthday and Easter all in the same day!

When the Easter bunny comes to our house, he likes to hide jelly beans around the house and he also hides our baskets. Lexi thought it was pretty fun, and she was also happy to know that he enjoyed our carrots we put out for him.
This is what the Easter bunny put in Lexi's basket this year.

Danielle enjoyed her first pair of glasses

and Lexi enjoyed hers too.

Danielle also enjoyed giving Minnie Mouse a lot of love.

Lexi is awesome at finding Easter eggs. I loved the action shot of the egg falling out of the tree.

After working up an appetite, we enjoyed some tuffies. (aka scones)

We enjoyed watching as much conference that we could hear with 2 young kids, and then we were off to Grandma and Grandpa's. Lexi and Emery found out that the Easter bunny visited their house too, so they got to find some more eggs.

They are showing Aunt Krissy all the goods.

Johnny formed a lawn care business when he was a teenager and his brothers worked with him too. Later they took over his lawns when he went off to college. Papa John still had all of the non-working lawn mowers that they used.
And to end it all, my baby is now 6 months old. She is scooting and rolling all over the place. She is almost sitting up on her own and she has almost got herself in the crawling position. :( They grow up so fast....
I love this last picture because she looks like a little movie star telling me not to take her picture.

Your girls are so cute. I am glad you guys had a good Easter weekend. We need to get together again sometime. Oh, and did you make the white head band? Is it out of nylon? Explain!
