Lexi's 3rd Birthday

Today, 3 years ago, is the day, I held this cute little baby for the first time.
This year I decided to throw Lexi a friend birthday party. It didn't take too long to convince her to have a Care Bear party. She talked about it for weeks. I tried to keep with a rainbow theme so here are a few things we served...
We had these rainbow jello cups one time at girl's camp, and I still remembered that treat to this day. So I attempted it just for Lexi's party. I think they were pretty cute.
Some marshmallow sucker pops. I dipped them in white chocolate and then dipped them in sprinkles. It was so fun and easy to do. Lexi even helped me make these.
I was a little bummed about the weather. It was kinda cold and windy. I had balloons tied around some care bears and put them on the table but alas, the wind kept blowing them in the food so I had to forget that idea, but at least I still had my rainbow.

When the kids showed up, they got to have a Care Bear symbol painted on their face. Here is the one Ella chose...Care A Lot, which is her favorite Care Bear

Danielle got in on that action too with a flower
Here is Lexi blowing bubbles for the kids with her new bubble blower. Of course Sunshine Bear is there too.
I totally was laughing because all the kids were so intense when she was opening the presents. Lexi would open one, hand it to a friend...then on to the next one. There was an occasional "WOW" in there, which always makes me smile. She loved all of her gifts and has had a lot of fun playing with all of them.

We had 12 kids at the party. It was crazy, but so much fun. Lexi had a blast and is still talking about her Care Bear party.
On Sunday we had a family party. I made who else but a Sunshine Bear cake. She loved it, if you can't tell!
Her big surprise was her new bike. We promised her that if she learned to use the potty we would get her a bike, so luckily that happened...well almost but close enough for me.

Lexi loved her play dough set. It make some of our favorite foods: popcorn, soda, candy, hot dogs and many more things.

And she got some princess dress up stuff. She LOVES her magic wand.

I LOVE this girl so much! I know she probably won't remember much from this weekend but hopefully she remembers that it was fun and that she is really loved.

Happy Birthday my baby girl!

Cute, cute, cute! Wish we could have been in two places at once last weekend so Morgan could have come. It looks like so much fun! I bet the kids loved the face painting. I'm happy Lexi had a great birthday!

It was a fun party, Ella had a lot of fun. Looks like Lexi had fun at her family party too. You did a great job, I know it was a lot of work.

This is a really cute party idea. I LOVE your rainbow on the fence. So adorable. The rainbow Jello Salad is a favorite recipe of mine too. Looks like everyone had a great time. Good Job Julie. I seriously can't believe it's been 3 years. She's getting so big!
