Soccer and Cookies

This Saturday Johnny and I got to go to Seattle to a professional soccer game. Seattle now has a new team and a huge team from England came to play them. We lucked out and got some tickets so we headed up with some friends and had an awesome time together.
This is a shot of Seattle in the background. We thought it looked pretty awesome. And behind where we were sitting was the ocean so it gave us a nice breeze throughout the game which was perfect. Here is the opening part of the game. I think it is so neat that when the players walk out that they each are holding a little kids hand. What an awesome experience for a little kid.
Here is an action shot...too bad it isn't Seattle making a goal. They ended up losing to Chelsea
2-0. It was still an awesome game to watch and to see what a difference it is compared to watching high schoolers play!
This is not the best picture but I still thought it was pretty good.

Last week we had a ward BBQ which was a lot of fun. I was suppose to bring a dessert so I made my favorite chocolate peanut butter chip cookies. Lexi saw me put my apron on and wanted to wear hers too and help me make the cookies. Don't worry if you ate one of my cookies because I just let her put the chips in so she didn't touch any of it :)
And any kids favorite part was to lick the beater. This was her first time but she already looks like a pro and let me tell ya that that thing was clean when she was done.

Gee... I wonder where it all went?

I love the pictures of Lexi licking the batter. Her face is so messy! How fun that you and Johnny were able to go to Seattle for a game. Sounds nice with the ocean breeze.

I'm so glad you guys got to go to the game and have some fun time away. It looks like it was a great day for a game.

That picture of Lexi is awesome. I love that little kids enjoy little things like licking the beaters so much.
