My Momma!

So, I will be gone for the next week on a cruise! I know, aren't you jealous? So, since I will be gone for her Birthday I thought that I would send my Mom a Happy Birthday post before I leave. This picture is almost a year old. I can't even believe that it has been that long since we have been together! Too long if you ask me!
So some things that I love and admire about my mother is:
  • She loves the gospel. She trys hard to go to the temple as often as possible and she has always been a strong example of prayer. There are many times I have caught her alone in her room praying to Heavenly Father.
  • She is very compassionate
  • She had 6 kids and raised us all very well
  • She has more patience than anyone I know. I guess you have to be with 6 kids!!!
  • She is an awesome grandmother and respects the wishes of us parents.
  • Though we are not around her often, Lexi absolutely loves her!
  • Whenever I am sad, she is the one who quickly sheds tears with me and then always makes me smile in the end.
  • She is a hard worker and it amazes me to this day how she was able to keep such a clean house!

We love you Mom and we miss you so much! I hope you have a great Birthday and a surprise will come after our trip!

Your going on a CRUISE?? How cool is that? Where are you going? I bet you are so excited. Are you taking Lexi? I hope you have a great time and I can't wait to hear all about it when you get back. Your mom sounds really sweet. Hope she has a great birthday!

Your mom sounds like a wonderful lady - you seem to share some of those same qualities with her. I'm so excited for you guys to go on your cruise, I will be imagining you sun bathing and having fun while we're stuck here in the dreary northwest!

It sounds like you have a wonderful mother. I agree with Sarah, it looks like the apple doesn't fall far from the tree, because you are terrific too!
