Birthday girl and more

Lexi told Johnny a few times that she wanted to play basketball and once I caught wind of that I signed her right up.  She is short but that girl is good.  Unfortunately she doesn't get passed to ever, but if she gets her hands on the ball she goes for it and shoots.  She got a few baskets and I was thrilled for her. She absolutely loved it and plays at recess everyday.  Her coaches were amazing and they both worked at Columbia Basin Community college so for the half time at one of the women's games they were the half time entertainment.  It was so funny watching them play on the big hoops and court.
 Our little cheerleader.

One morning Lexi showed me her neck. I thought it was marker at first then she told me she took a basketball to the throat the night before.  Ouch!  She said she wanted to cry but she didn't. She is a tough cookie!
After of a year of begging and bribing I finally convinced Danielle to try rock climbing with a rope and now she begs to go anytime we go to the gym.
Lexi's Valentine to Danielle. "Dear Danielle, I love you so much but I don't have time to play with you because of piano, basketball, and soccer. Sincerely Lexi." Ha we need to work on priorities i suppose.
Johnny and I tried our hand at taking our own pictures.  There are some many cute ones I had to share them even though they aren't edited yet.

And this little missy is 1!!!!!! We had some fun with her on her special day!

Since she was born on Superbowl Sunday last year we celebrated again on Super Bowl Sunday this year and I made some sea hawk gear for the girls.

It is tough business learning to walk.  The chairs and table legs have been pretty mean to this girls face.
 Got Milk???

Oh man this girl kills me!  She is such a fun baby.

 Still a trouble maker!

Her birthday present arrived a little late but it is a huge hit and it is a present for mom too because the older girls like to pull her around in it.

This is her I don't feel good face and is the only time I EVER get to snuggle.
 Already beats up her sisters.

Probably the most disgusting yet amazing thing I have ever seen! There was a booger bubble but it popped before I took the picture.
She loves phones and is always stealing mine.  And she always says hello.
How on earth can I get mad that this face????? She loves headbands as long as she can put it on herself and I must admit she is pretty good at it. She also is obsessed with taking things and throwing them over her crib, baby gate and into the bath tub.  The below picture is what happened during a quick shower.

Beware baby bites!  And she only bites mom, and it hurts.

  •  Samantha decided to start walking right after her birthday and is now about in full on run mode.
  • She follows me around the kitchen and loves to be chased.
  • To say she loves her sisters is an understatement.  She adores them and they adore her.  Which also is hard to discipline her when she does naughty things and the girls laugh at her.
  • She loves to make messes everywhere
  • she loves mac and cheese, granola bars, and bananas
  • She does well when I take her to the store and restaurants.
  • I love her chubbiness so much. She has thinned out a bit but still has some good leg rolls.
  • She is very violent when she is mad.
  • When she is in pain or really tired she throws fits.  She wants to be held but then thrashes about til you can't hold her anymore.
  • There is this one show I watch on Netflix and the closing song as soon as it comes on she runs over to the coffee table and hides behind it til it is over.
  • she has become a copycat.  She will say boo, roar, and ba ba.  Sometimes I get da da and momma only when she is mad.
  • she refuses to drink out of a sippy cup.  But she was sick for the last few weeks and then had an double ear infection so I didn't feel like fighting that battle.  We will try again soon.
  • she hates silence. She loves to yell or bang toys around and push the music buttons when we are saying prayer or are in church.
  • If there are other kids at a store or church yell she will yell back. So hilarious!

Johnny and I did a weightless challenge a couple times over the last few months.  Here are some before and after pics.  I feel so much better but still have some new goals to meat.  I want to fit in some of my good clothes before our NYC trip which is in a few months!  Yeah!!!!
