Christmas time is our favorite time

December is my favorite month. It is full of magic, good food, family, lights, games and much more. This December was a great one and one to cherish!

 Oh the pigtails, and the cheeks......  She also took the stethoscope and put it on just like my dad would do.  Do I dare say she even has the same serious face as him? :)

 Aunt Mary made this super cute outfit when she was born and it finally fits.  (I will try to get one of her wearing on correctly, sorry Mary)

 We went to Leavenworth with the whole Trevino clan and enjoyed the light ceremony.  It was cold, very very cold but also lots of fun. (I will never do this again though or at least not for a long long time.)

 Danielle had a Christmas program and dare I saw she was adorable! Her favorite song was "I want a hippopotamus for Christmas."

 Mom and William came and enjoyed Christmas with us this year. We had a blast eating out, playing lots of games and just visiting.

 For almost 6 months I have been planning a surprise anniversary trip to Philly and NYC and Christmas morning Johnny opened some gifts which were clues.  First was chewed gum magnets, cheese in the can, some movies that are made in NYC and Philly, and then these shirts with plane tickets.  He was shocked and I was so glad to finally get the surprise out.  We have had fun planning the trip together and we look forward to going and celebrating our 10th together.

 Chopstick war at Fugiyamas. My favorite part is when the chef asked a question and mom raised her hand and then he made her try to catch rice in her mouth. (bragging)  All the adults gave it a try and I was last but the only one to succeed.

 I also got a new nephew this month.  May I introduce Wade.  He is so sweet and I love to snuggle on him.

 New years eve we had just a few friends over to ring in the new year and we played a few minute to win it games.

 Dave killed it.  I think he may have practiced this a few times before :)
