Samantha has conquered a few new things this month. She can hold her own bottle finally! She scoots all over the place and gets into lots of trouble. She disappears down the hall after Lua and the girls. She has no teeth still, but they are coming very very soon. She jabbers and learned to do a very high pitch and loud scream, no thanks to her sisters. She doesn't like strangers anymore. Stinks for mommy because I hold her a lot and she is heavy. She gets mad when I walk away. It is a lot harder to get her to smile now a days. Lexi and Danielle can get her to giggle tons just looking at her but for me I have to work for it. When you lay her down for bed or a nap even when she is asleep, she kicks her legs and swings her arms for a few seconds then stops. I insert her binky and put her blanket over her. And with a very serious face, she then grabs the blanket to her face and rolls to her side. It is so funny. Towards the end of the month she learned how to sit herself up which makes her very happy. She is rocking a lot on her knees but then gets mad. She kinda does the plank move when she gets really mad and can't move where she wants.
We have been taking fun advantage of the extra summer days. We sure pooped her out this day.
She loves the bath
Her cousin Olive came for a visit.
Olive is saying "what is your deal girl?"
You can see how truly dirty you floor is when you have a scooting baby. Half the time her shirt is covered in dirt and/or food from the kitchen despite my efforts.
