Coast 2014

Again we had a wonderful trip to the Seaside, Oregon with the Trevino family.  It was so fun to see the cousins play well together, get really wet and dirty, eat yummy seafood and much more.

We explored the Maritime Museum in Astoria, OR.  It was so fun and probably my favorite day of the trip.

Each flag represents a letter.  We are proudly flying the Trevino name.

Lexi and Johnny tried to hold their hands in 40 degree water for 3 minutes. It is suppose to simulate what it would be like in the ocean water.  Lexi last 20 seconds but Johnny made it to 3 minutes.
Boys and their toys.

We got to tour this Columbia ship.  The ship was retired and made into a lighthouse many years ago but I don't think it currently runs as a lighthouse but it was very neat to walk through and see the tight quarters.  I know I couldn't handle being a fishermen.

On the way to Seattle we stopped at the fish hatchery.  We have always talked about it but were always in a rush to get somewhere, but this year we had plenty of time.

G-pa brushing Danielle's hair for her.

We had a girls night and painted nails and had some treats.

I like big butts and I cannot lie!!!!

 More from the museum.

Johnny finally got to eat at this fish and chips place that he has been wanting to try for over 3 years. He stood in line, I took the girls to McDonalds drive thru and came back.  We ate our lunch and he still didn't have his food yet. He said it was worth the hour wait.
Debbi and I took the older girls horse back riding.  We drove all the way to Long Beach to our favorite place. It was Danielle's first time, and Lexi and Emery rode their own horses.  Danielle was pretty afraid but was fine after ten minutes or so.  I was worried about Lexi being on her own horse but she did great!

After we had to go to the best ice cream shop, Scoopers.  It is the only place where I could find my favorite Huckleberry Cheesecake ice cream.  TO.DIE.FOR!!!!

This is how we all felt by the time we got home!!! It was tons of fun as always but we were happy to be home again.
