Starting our summer out right

We started our summer out with a bang and headed to Tacoma, Washington to attend our friend Kate's baptism. We went along with our favorite family, the Kemps, and made it a weekend getaway.  We went to the Tacoma zoo which the perfect size for our little ones.  The kids had a blast being up close and personal with some of the animals.

Kate's baptism was amazing and it was fun to visit with her family. The next day we headed to the Pacific Science center next to the Space Needle in Seattle. It is a hands on type of place and we could have spent hours there doing everything.

Overall the most favorite spot was the butterfly exhibit.  After all the playing we headed for some Cheesecake factory and headed home.  I think it was a hit because the girls keep asking when we are going back.

Samantha had her first bike ride which only was in the driveway.

I told Johnny that once upon a time he said he would be surrounded by beautiful women and his dream has come true.  This picture was taken on father's day.

Lexi and Danielle love Samantha.  It melts my heart every time they play with her and make her laugh or smile.  Samantha adores them and smiles the instant they walk in the room.
I love having a chubby baby! With the other girls I would always hear "she is so little" Well with this not so little girl I hear a lot of "she is big for 5 months" Ha ha I never thought I would hear those words about a kid of mine. :) I love her little dimple on her elbows and I love her amazing eyebrow raised looks.
Samantha had her first boat ride.  Doesn't she look so thrilled???? But it was a good day for me because I finally built up enough courage to wakeboard again after 8 years. I had been afraid to try because the last few times I did, it would flare up my herniated discs and the pain was not worth the 5 minutes of fun.  This year since I have had some constant back pain I decided why not.  AND I got up right away and the bonus to it all, is my back didn't even hurt the next day.  This has made me hopeful and happy that I can do something I love again.

Samantha is not only has plenty of rolls on her legs but she rolls all over the floor.  She also has become an expert at putting anything she can hold in her mouth.  She also has become great at giving open mouthed kisses to us and herself

She had her first swing ride. She like it pretty well.
Some of my favorite things about babies are the adorable swimsuits.  Samantha loves to swim and when she is in the water she kicks her legs like crazy making mommy's arms very tried.
She has become a expert bouncer.  She loves her bouncer and thinks she is pretty funny.  If you look at her she get all excited and bounces so hard it seems she is going to bounce right out of there.

She has become a big wiggle worm. I was a big challenge to get her to sit down for these pictures.  She rather stand and jump on your lap then sit still. she also likes to rock herself back and forth really hard against my chest and if your not careful she gives a nice head butt.

Our family is so blessed to have this baby, and if you can't tell she is loved very much.
