Kindergarten here she comes

Preschool has ended for Miss Lexi.  She has been going to Miss Molly, who she loves more than she loves her own mother. :(  She went three days a week and she loved every single bit of it. (except the first 2 days)  They has a graduation night for the 2 different classes that will be heading to kindergarten this fall.  They sang a few songs and then they were to spell there name in the microphone and then they got a present from Miss Molly.

Lexi sang and did everything except she was still too shy to spell her name even though she is a pro at it.  She tells me daily, many many times, how to spell it, but she got some stage fright. Miss Molly helped her out and spelled it for her.

I will forever be grateful for Miss Molly.  She was able to help Lexi break through some walls in regards to her shyness.  She is still extremely shy in front of others, but she will talk to most people now.  She will now at least get in front of crowds and preform as long as she is with some friends and doesn't have to talk. She even told me a month or so ago that she wanted to talk in the microphone in primary.  So I asked them to give her something to see if she would do it.  She didn't but at least she wanted to get up there and give it a try, and she did that without crying, which believe me is a HUGE step for her.  Miss Molly is an amazing teacher and I wish I had someone when I was Lexi's age to help me break out of my shell a little more.  Thank-you Miss Molly for taking the time to help my little one.
