G-ma came to our house

My mom came to visit us for a week in the end of May. We spent a lot of our days shopping, eating out and playing with the kids. We did take a day trip up to one of my mom's and my favorite spots up here in the northwest, Leavenworth. We ate at our favorite brats place, sampled some cheeses, bought some cured meat, and indulged in some carmel apples. I swear I probably gained 5 pounds in just that day but it was oh so worth every. single. bite.

 

The girls had these marshmallows that were on a cone and them dipped in chocolate and sprinkles.  Danielle's face also is covered in candy from a candy necklace that she ate right before.

 

We had a great time with mom.  I think it was good for both her and I to spend some time together and just to have some fun. My only regret is that I didn't get a single picture with her in it. :(  Love you Mom and thanks for visiting us!
