Disneyland # 4 and 5

After Christmas is when we made a last minute decision to go to Disneyland. I told Lexi and I thought that she would have no idea what I was talking about, but once again she surprised me. She was so excited that I was almost regretting telling her. The smile on these cute little faces was worth the wait!

We had three days at Disneyland so the first day was mostly spent in California Land. The first character we saw was Mickey. Lexi wanted nothing to do with any of the characters at all. Danielle was leery but at least she wasn't crying when I made her take a picture with me.

The girl's favorite ride was the Merry-Go-Round. I think they rode it about 10 times throughout the trip.

One of my favorite rides was the Toy Story one. You have a shooting competition with the person sitting with you. Lexi loved it too. It was more like a video game than a ride to her, so when we were done she wanted to know where her prize was. So I bought her a trading pin and she seemed pleased with that.

I think this will be our Christmas card next year. You can't see it, but Danielle is picking her nose. Classic!

The girls had a duck race in the creek

After a few characters, Danielle was a little more warmed up. She ran right over to the cars, stood in the middle and said "cheese". Lexi on the other hand still wouldn't budge.

In Bug Land, we attempted to take the girls to another 4D show, but we only lasted about 20 seconds in and we had to leave because both girls were screaming. But they did however like the spray area.

I just love this one of Grandma Debbi!

If you can't tell by her face, Lexi loved the teacups. It was probably her favorite. Danielle liked to turn it to make it go faster, but Lexi didn't want any part of that.

One of the most exciting things for the girls was that we rode on the bus to and from the hotel.

Only children of John Trevino would fully understand the meaning behind this picture! :)

After our first full day at Disneyland we went to the World of Color show. This is probably the most amazing show ever. The girls loved it too and it was well worth the long wait. Danielle was so tuckered out after the show that she was falling asleep on Debbi's shoulders.

The next day was rainy in the morning for about an hour. It was cooler that day but it didn't stop us from having a blast.

One thing we were told we had to do was eat a Monte Cristo sandwich at the Blue Bayou. Probably one of the coolest restaurants ever. It is actually in the pirates of the Caribbean ride. It is like you are eating in a swamp. And the food was amazing also, but next time I will have to share a plate because they give you tons of food.

Who needs entertainment when Danielle is around? She would randomly start dancing around in the street. This time she went on forever and people we stopping to watch her.

Here is my proud mommy moment: Johnny, John and I were going to go get in line for splash mountain while Debbi watched the girls. Then Lexi insisted on coming with us. I told her I thought it was too big for her, but she still wanted to go. So I told her we would measure her to make sure she was tall enough and believe it or not she was. I was so nervous for her. We even showed her the drop and she still said she wanted to go. She made it through the whole thing and said it was fun but didn't want to do it again. Debbi even got our picture. Lexi is in pink in the 3rd spot, which you can barely see.

The park closed early the second day we were there, which was almost a blessing because we were all pretty tired after 4 long days in a row. We all passed out early to get ready for our last day at the happiest place on earth.
