Here is what each of us have been up to:
Johnny-
* Finally got done with soccer season. (that is until March)
* He BIG project that he has been working on for 9 plus months at work finally got done this last week without any problems.
* Got his promotion and raise
* Has been busy helping out with the girls while I have been running around with my head cut off.
* Took me on a double date with our friends Riley and Sarah. The guys got gift cards from the soccer girls, so we went to Famous Dave's for a great and filling BBQ dinner. Then because we were such great wives for supporting them in soccer season, we all went for pedicures. Yes all four of us enjoyed soaking our feet while sitting in the massage chair. The guys opted out on the nail polish though. We then walked around the mall for a little while avoiding going home to the children, and topped the night off with a Cinabon. I have to say that it was the best date I have probably ever had. It made up for all of those lonely weekends.
Julie-
*Had a great Thanksgiving day until about 8pm, and I got fever and chills. I was sick for a good week before I got some antibiotics in me that started working. The girls were sick too and we all had eye infections. Lexi and I got a nice ear infection too.
* Busy finishing up Christmas stuff before we head to Reno for Christmas
* Got a new church calling. I am now the 2ND counselor in the Primary Presidency. I am very excited about the opportunity but a little nervous and overwhelmed at what is coming my way.
* Continually trying to clean the house, just in case someone happens to want to come by and walk through our house.
Lexi-
* Has been enjoying dressing up in her princess stuff, and brushing my hair and making me "pretty"
* Still loves nursery but is not liking the idea of becoming a Sunbeam in a few weeks
* We still have a constant battle about her car seat every. single. day. The 12+ hour drive to Reno next week will be heaven I am sure.
* Loves to dance with Daddy. The other day Johnny was trying to teach her how to spin. Daddy had me show her how and she said "you have to buy her flowers." I looked at Johnny and just laughed because I totally didn't tell her to say that. I have no idea where she got that idea, but I sure like it
* Is finally diaper free at nap and bedtime. So far no accidents but I am not holding my breath.
* Hates going to the Dr. I took her in for an ear infection and now whenever she gets hurt she says " I don't want to go to the Dr" Last week I had to take Danielle to get a flu shot and when they called us back, Lexi quickly pointed to Danielle so the nurse was fully aware that it wasn't her getting the shot.
*She has loved playing in the snow. She wanted to play in it everyday. But since I don't really have any snow gear for her, she doesn't last too long out there.
Danielle-
* Is enjoying playing by herself in her room a lot more
* Is following instructions pretty well
* When she is hungry she runs to her booster seat and tries to climb in.
* Has no shame when it comes from food. Wherever it may be, she will be there to eat it. Floor, garbage, or begging from someone. No shame at all I tell ya!
*Is surprisingly good at walking in high heals. She is always finding my shoes and bringing them to me.
* Loves to go bye bye. Loves her shoes and jacket on and then runs for the garage door
* Says Uh-o, Mama, Dada, and hello.
*Had fun in the first big snowfall of the year
* Has about 15 different facial expressions.
Our family went to the ward Christmas party a couple of nights ago and we got to see Santa. Danielle didn't mind, but that was probably due to the fact that they gave her a candy cane right away.
