*So I just realized that many people I love in my life, names have John in them: John Mayer, Johnny Depp, Jack Johnson, and my one true love Johnny Trevino.Anyways the concert was held in George, Washington (no joke), at a place called The Gorge. Since our tickets said no cameras, we left ours at home, but of course when we got there, EVERYONE had one, or at least had a phone that takes nice pictures. So here is a picture that I found of the Gorge.

It was my favorite place to ever see a concert, and the concert was amazing. He was also playing with Keith Urban, who is a big time country singer. I didn't realize who he was, but I actually owned a few of his songs, which is saying something since I am not a big country fan. It was a great night and it was so awesome to have a little time away with my hubby.
The day before my birthday was Labor Day and my two best friends here McKenzie and Betsy took me to get some pedicures and out to a yummy dinner. (took the camera but no pics)
On my actual birthday was like every other day, meeting, cleaning etc, etc. Johnny had soccer that night so I was alone with the girls. John and Debbi called me up and wanted to spoil me a little on my special day, so I suggested my new favorite place in Pasco, My Fro-Yo. I could eat this for every meal!
Then two days later I was off for a sister's weekend in Reno. My sister's Wendy and Candice and I went to Time Out for Women in Sacramento. Sadly Mary couldn't come with us.
On Friday, we got there right when it was starting. It was a sold out show, so we were in the back. Then an usher said there was three seats up closer if we wanted to move. So we did, and we followed her down the isle, and we kept walking and walking about I swear 100 rows of women and get seated in the 6Th row! It was awesome. (I will have write more about the awesome time I had there and the things I learned)
This is Wendy giving me a nice face when I demanded I had a picture right then!
Now that is better
Sunday we had a little craft time. I brought some fun things to do with the my nieces, Juliana and Marissa. Here is my little circle drawer.
Wendy working intently on her wall hanging and Mary working on Danielle's birthday present, which by the way is in like 3 weeks! Ah!
Marissa, Juliana and I made felt rose earrings and bobby pins. We are modeling them here.
We also made some flower headbands. We worked hard and made some for my other nieces, Emily and Hannah. So we are all showing off our stuff.
Aren't the all so adorable?
My Grandma threw a little dinner and dessert get together at her house. I can't even remember the last time I had a dinner in her back yard. It brought back so many fun memories, and I got to see the rest of the fam.
Here are the twinners. Can you tell they are newlyweds? Jen and Jeremy are one of the cutest couples I have seen.
So not the best picture but I took it because it reminded me of the many times I played with Jen and Steph in the backyard at Grandmas. One of favorite activities was to see if we good get the water from the water fountain to spray over the power line above.

A true man already!
My handsome little Joseph!
Now I am home and I think finally caught up on my sleep. Those midnight and 2am bedtimes are killer. I had so much fun with all of my family over the last few weeks. I also had a great birthday this year and look forward to see what this year has in store for me. 27 here I come!
