Johnny's Office

Johnny turns 30 next month, but his little brother is getting married on his birthday so I decided to throw him a surprise party a month early. Now our favorite show to watch around here is The Office. So if you don't watch the show, none of this will make any sense but if you do watch the show, I hope you enjoy my efforts...
Oh yeah the name is spelled wrong, don't worry I DO know how to spell my husband's name.
Here is his reaction:
When he walked in, this is what he was greeted by:

In the conference room. I asked people to dress up as any character they wanted from the show. We have a couple Angela's, a Meridith, Kevin up front with the Kleenex boxes, a Creed, a Jim in his famous 3 hole punch Halloween costume, a Toby and a few casual day Friday dressers. (OK that is just their excuse for not having an awesome costume.)

Though Johnny didn't know about the party but I made sure that he had an outfit to wear too:

Oh yes our favorite character, Dwight. And I was Kelly

Here is my almost 30 yr old husband in all of his glory!
I have to tell you, there was a lot of groundwork to pull this off. I almost blew it a few times because I discovered that I am not a good liar.
Also I have to say that my husband is very loving. His soccer team made the playoffs so my plans got a little hairy there for a while. Every game they would play, I would have to see what the new schedule was for that week and when and where all the games were. So I talked to the head coach and got him to change the practice today to 4-6 so I could make sure that he was home at 6:30. Well that worked great, but then I forgot that they had a team dinner. I finally had to tell him I planned a girl's night and I needed to have him home, because the movie started at 6:45. Now I could tell that he was a little irritated by this, probably because I always seem to have something on his team dinner nights. But he was a great sport and he was totally fine with that. No questions asked and no fighting. Dodged a bullet there!
With some help from the other coaches, his family and friends we pulled it off. A big Thank-you to my mother in law, Debbi. She helped me all day to shop and prepare food and decorate my house! I couldn't of pulled it off without your help! Thanks
I think he had a great time and I hope he knows how much I love him!
Happy Birthday Jonnie...I mean Johnny.
*now pressures on for my 30Th, you have more than 3 yrs to think about that...so it better be good!!!!

You are such a great wife...there is me who was talking to Spencer about doing a surprise 30th for him for this year and he said "um honey, I am turning 31 this year!" Oops, I missed that one!
