Lexi's update:
- Lexi is always saying funny things that makes me laugh:
* She sings "Winnie honey Pooh" while dancing
*"I watch a movie watch?"
*"Shh or Be quiet, Danielle is sleeping" when she isn't
*"Don't touch Dad, it is very hot!" After mom told her not to touch her hair straightener.
- One of our newest adventures is potty training. It took awhile for her to actually go on the potty but then finally she did it and it seemed to click...or I thought. She would even go on her own sometimes, and then all of a sudden it is a big fight to get her to try and most of the time she doesn't go and goes in her pull-up
- She is one smart cookie. So to finally get her to go in the toilet, I put her feet in some warm water. So she likes doing that and always asks to do that even though she doesn't really need it anymore. After she "went potty" I would check with some tp to see if she is wet. The other day Johnny caught her putting water on herself. Now I don't know if she did this on purpose so that she could get a cookie or not, but either way it is pretty hilarious. The other day I checked on her after about one minute and she had a whole roll in the toilet. I was afraid it would clog it so I had to dig it out. Yuck! We were literally flushing money down the drain!
- She is still such a girl. She loves to carry a purse anywhere we go. I don't let her take it in the stores because I am afraid that she might put something in it one of these days without me knowing.
I just realized that she has her middle finger sticking up. Sad to say, but she does this frequently, of course not on purpose.
- Lexi likes to stay in her jammies unless I tell her we are going to a friend's house then quickly she runs for her clothes and shoes
- She is always using her hands when she talks. She points at me a lot when she is bossing me around.
- She tries to get other kids to do her dirty work. I will tell her to throw her diaper away and they she turns to her friends and tells them to do it.
- She is also a good big sister. If Danielle is upset she will give her her binky or reset her mobile for her. The other day I caught her trying to swaddle her and giving her her binky. I wish I had my camera handy for that one.
- When I go in her room in the morning or after nap and I often commanded to get out. Then she continues to play for awhile longer.
- Danielle is now 3 1/2 months old. She no longer looks like a newborn baby. She had definitely chunked out a little bit. I love changing her diaper just so I can pinch those fat rolls.
- She is always giving away a smile to anyone who will give her the time of day. She will smile at you and then quickly look away like she is embarrassed.
- She has started to laugh. She likes to be ticked on her tummy and loves when Lexi fake laughs at her. She thinks it is the next best thing to milk!
- She has eyes for her daddy. He will not even be looking at her and she will just look and smile at him forever. She loves to listen to him talk. (that will be a good thing for her later on) He always is able to get her to fall asleep on his chest and stay asleep there for quite awhile.
- She is most happy in someones arms, (usually mine), then in her bumbo chair. This was well worth my money so far. She is getting better about playing on the floor but you have to be right next to her for her to be there more than 2 minutes.
- She is a pretty good sleeper at night. She usually goes to bed around 9 and sleeps to about 2-5 depending. Now during the day...that is another tail altogether.
- She hasn't figured out her hands yet but hopefully that will come very soon, so maybe she could entertain herself a few minutes out of the day.
- She is a major drooler. You can notice how wet her shirt is. She also is fond of making bubbles
- She has a happy baby attitude as long as she is getting what she wants. I am scared to see what the future has to bring with this one. One thing is for certain that there will be a lot of smiles.
On a side note: One tradition that my great Aunt Liv does is to make each new baby in the family a clown. Here is Danielle with hers. I think Danielle's was #650 something. (she has made a tons of clowns!)
Lexi with hers
Yes and I still have mine too. I loved playing with my clown when I was little and I hope my girls will like theirs too.

beautiful girls! Love the clowns, that is so, so cute.
Super cute pics! Danielle is getting so big... can't wait till we can really meet her someday (who knows when that will be!)
Danielle is seriously one of the smiliest babies I've ever seen. She is such a doll. Lexi is too, just keep telling yourself that her stubborness to do things might come in handy for her someday. (Or that's what I try to tell myself about Kendle anyways) Ha!
Great updates! You are blessed to have such adorable little girls!
