Reno trip

So a few weeks ago Lexi and I got to go to Reno for my cousin's/bff wedding. We had such a blast! My sister Candice is a full time mom too so she was our driver for a lot of the days we were there. This is a picture of Lexi's cousins Hannah and Emily. They played really well together and it was just so fun to see how well they did. Lexi loved Candy's house....can I just tell you if my child throws a fit when she leaves, it means that she loves it there and doesn't want to be away from the fun!
This is Joseph, who I haven't seen since he was about 4 months old! Boy time has flown by!

The weather couldn't have been better for us. We got to go to a park one afternoon and boy was that a nice change from the gloomy rain in the tri-cities!
But of course our main reason for going was to see this beautiful bride! This was the best picture I got but hopefully I can get some more later! (hint, hint)

This is Jennifer and Jeremy! They are so perfect together and I am so excited for them to start the journey of marriage together!
Lexi also loved her other cousins, but I have to say that I think she loved Marissa the best. She is almost 12 so I guess she is less threatening when it comes to toys. Lexi loved her so much. They played outside for a long time and enjoyed the trampoline too.
So probably one of the highlights of our trip was at the last minute my parents decided to fly over from Hawaii! When my mom told me the day before I was suppose to leave, I cried for a long time and cried every time I told someone about it. It was so great because honestly I didn't know when we would be able to see them.

So I have to tell you that Grandpa just means fun! Lexi loved Grandpa! She doesn't ever put her arms out for people to pick her up except for her grandpas! I just loved seeing my Dad play with her and show her how much she means to him. I think she definitely helped make their trip worthwhile!

The last night we were there my sister Wendy and her husband threw an awesome dinner and birthday party at their house. Because we were there too, we threw in Lexi's birthday even though we are still a month away! It was fun to celebrate early though. I love this picture because she was just so unsure about this whole everyone is looking and singing at me!
I love this because she was so tired, and this was one of those no nap days, by her choice not mine! I think she was done for the night...but wait just a minute...
Sugar! Heck I am not tired anymore!

This was the end result!

So there were many highlights for me on this trip.

  • I got to meet some new members of the family, who I am so grateful let me stay with them! Thanks Robert and Steph. I think Robert is an expert on installing Lexi's car seat.
  • I got to spend one on one time with all my sisters, my parents and my 2 bffs.
  • I got to eat and 3 of my favorite places in Reno
  • I got to enjoy some great company!

I love and miss you all so much!!!! Thanks for everyone who helped me while we were there and who spoiled Lexi!
