April hasn't been too extremely busy for us except for soccer and Lexi's birthday. She has one game left in the season, which also means Daddy only has a week left of high school soccer too! :) Lexi has blossomed in soccer. It is amazing the difference from the first few games verses this spring. She is great on the ball and is aggressive. And in a couple of the games she scored at least 5 goals. She gets pushed down a lot but she gets right back up and keeps going. I am so proud of her and I know Johnny is so pleased to see that she is good at something he loves. I love watching the bond they have developed through soccer.
And of course this girls can't stop getting bigger and older and she had to go and turn 6 on me.
She loves getting mail from her Grandma's. She always feels special and she can't wait to go buy some new Lego's.
We had a Lorax themed party. I didn't take a picture of the invites but we attached some candy mustaches. I had so much fun finding some fun treats and making these Trufella tree forest. And I was so glad I took a picture early because a few hours later the cotton candy had shrunk from all the moisture in the air. They looked so sad, but it was hilarious.
I just love these 2 people more then anything!
At the party we planted some flowers in some very cute Lorax cups that my best friend ever helped to put together. Thanks again Betsy!!!
She was super excited about some new Legos mom and dad picked out for her
Our party animals. To get 10 girls to sit still = impossible!
There is no birthday celebration around here without going to Red Robin. We invited Gma and Gpa Trevino to join us. She felt like a special girl for sure
And as always Aunt Mary sent some amazing gifts.
Danielle this month has given me a run for the money. It is a good thing that she is so cute!
Her new nickname around here is Picasso. Luckily for me and for her it was only on her skin this time....
but not this one. You can't see it too well but that is pink sidewalk chalk that had a starting line on the top of the stairs and ended on the bottom step.
I bought a bike and a bike trailer and some days when it is nice we try to ride to the park and sometimes school. And a few times she had fallen asleep.
For Lexi's birthday she got lots of makeup. Seriously like four different people got her something to do with makeup or nail polish. So she felt she was old enough to paint her own nails.(with moms supervision of course) How do you think she did???I don't think I will be letting her do mine anytime soon!

I saw those little fingers and toes on facebook and I like you have a hard time letting go! It is just "easier" to do it myself! :) You are a good mom Julie. Way to be awesome!
