For almost 5 years now I have been a soccer widow....I mean wife. Anyone knows Johnny for more than 2 minutes will know that he LOVES soccer. He started coaching his high school team almost five years ago. It has for sure been hard on me and my girls not having him around as much as we would like but he is doing something amazing with his life and along with that, doing a dream of his. He is a role model for those boys and girls, he helps with school work and overall just helps to shape their lives. One of my favorite things is seeing a former player coming up to him to give a hug or handshake and seeing how much they actually like him even though they put them through grueling practices.
So a little of his love has now brushed off on my girls and Lexi has loved every second of it. So my amazing hubby squeezed coaching in Lexi's team with his high school team. It was a balancing act, but Lexi has loved every minute of spending this time with her dad doing something they both love. So here are a few shots of this years team of Sparkle Motion
This one just shows how big my little squirt is compared to her friends :)
This is sexy to me. :)
Ha this is small but the one with the face on the ground is Lexi. She was on a breakaway and she got pushed. Yeah she cried, but I was proud that after her meltdown she went back out there. (there was a least one or six meltdowns from her this year)
Lexi's first game, I am not even sure she touched the ball. The second game she got tripped so she got to have a foul kick and she made her first goal. I had bribed her before the game that if she scored a goal she could have a piece of gum. So after she scored she came running right over to me and demanded her gum while the game kept going! :)
One of the girl's dad on the team does professional photography so he donated his time to take our girls pictures. He did an awesome job and they were pretty fun. Of course Lexi doesn't really smile for people to she doesn't know well so this is what she gave. Ha totally her!
Bailey, Lexi, Alexa, Ivy, Jackie and Ella. All the girls did amazing and progressed really well from the first game to the last. Today was their last game of the season and each one scored a goal. It was an awesome day and we all are so proud of our Sparkle Motion team.
