Winding down the summer

Summer is quickly coming to an end, but yet we keep on packing in all the fun.

We went to the Stake picnic where the girls got majorly overloaded with lots of sugary treats. We invited Emery and Aunt Jennie along for the fun too.

Danielle's first taste of pure sugar delight.

What she is always doing...getting into Mommy's purse. Her favorite is my wallet and the receipts always make a tasty treat too.

Johnny amazes me as to where and when he can fall asleep. He can't sleep on planes or in cars but yet he can sleep in the middle of the floor, while the girls are crying, or jumping all over him. I just don't get it. Lexi was pretending to be like Daddy, and she even gave him her pillow too. How sweet.

We went to our ward's camp out...well sort of. We put the girls to bed and around 11:30 Danielle threw up in her bed. So therefore we left that night and made it home and in our own beds about 1am. It was a good try at least.

Lexi and one of her "boyfriends" Morgan. Lexi loves Morgan. Awhile back he came over a few times and Lexi just loved it, and she would talk about him for days. I see a possible romance going on there. :) (of course it has to be 18 yrs from now when he gets back from his mission)

Lexi's hand always in the chip bag. Have I ever mentioned that this kid would choose a bag of chips over candy?

This Danielle just cracks me up. She has started a fake cry that totally drives me crazy. It is so annoying but it works for her so she keeps on doing it. But she makes it all better when she lays one of her smiles on ya.

Here is a little proof of her walking. I can't believe how fast they learn things. She can now walk across the room. If she falls, she will find something to pull herself back up and keep on going. (don't you love the pig tails too?)

If I can figure out how to download the videos I will share those with you too.

And this just totally sums up how I feel a lot of days.

I laugh that her little leg is sticking up. She climbs up on things and then kicks that leg out. Hilarious I tell you!

Oh, I also discovered that Danielle now can climbs stairs too. We don't have any at my house, and we aren't around stairs too often. But then all of a sudden I ran upstairs to grab something at Grandma's house and came back in and she was at the top of the stairs. She is a fast one!
